WMST teaches teen and adult drivers in Bothell, with the Lynnwood High School partner classroom on North Road and drives through Canyon Park, the Bothell-Everett Highway, and the I-405 ramps that run through town.
Bothell straddles the King and Snohomish county line, with the Bothell-Everett Highway running its spine and I-405 cutting through. Add the revitalized downtown on Main Street, the UW Bothell and Cascadia traffic, and the Canyon Park business district, and you get a town that teaches a new driver to stay alert.
WMST teaches the classroom at Lynnwood High School, which despite the name sits right here in Bothell on North Road near Canyon Park. Your teen keeps one certified instructor through every drive, and the classroom can also be done online.
WMST is a DOL-approved examiner, so the same school that trains your teen gives the skills test. The program is one package, from $549, classroom and drives and observation together.
New drivers start on the calmer streets off North Road and around the North Creek neighborhoods, where there is room to get comfortable. The Bothell-Everett Highway brings the turn lanes, timed lights, and steady traffic that build real judgment, and the Canyon Park district adds busy driveways and lane changes.
Downtown Bothell and the Main Street area have the tighter, pedestrian-heavy driving that teaches patience and good scanning, especially near the university. The hills and curves toward North Creek work in camber and descent control.
When your teen is ready, the I-405 on-ramps right in town are perfect for higher-speed merging practice. The later drives close with parallel parking, back-in stalls, and a full test-style route so test day feels familiar.
Bothell families take the classroom at Lynnwood High School on North Road or online, with drives starting near campus, and DOL testing at our Everett Express office. See dates on the registration page.
Every option below is the full DOL-approved program: 30 hours of classroom, 6 behind-the-wheel drives, and an hour of observation. The difference is how much testing and warm-up you want bundled in. See the full Teen Drivers Education breakdown.
