- 2 class + 2 range
- No experience needed
- Both DOL tests
- Bike & helmet included
Everything you need for your permit, start to finish.
This is the full path from never-ridden to permit-in-hand, built for people who have never thrown a leg over a motorcycle. Two classroom sessions teach you how riding actually works. Two range sessions put it under your own hands. Both DOL tests, knowledge and skills, happen right here, on the range you trained on, with the instructors who coached you.
We also include Champ U: New Rider from the Yamaha Champions Riding School at no charge. It is the same material used to train AMA pros, and it makes the in-person days click faster. Pass, and you leave with your permit and the habits that keep you upright.
$99.95 value, included free.
Every WMST beginner permit student gets full access to Champ U: New Rider from Yamaha Champions Riding School. That's 40 videos, 32 drills, and 43 quizzes on the principles of safe riding, body position, vision, and bike control. You can review at your own pace before, during, and after the course.
It's the same curriculum used to train AMA pros, we just included it because it makes you a better student in our class.
New & returning riders.
Built for riders with little or no experience, if you can confidently ride a bicycle, you're ready. Never touched a motorcycle and want a gentler on-ramp? Start with KickStart first.
You'll need DOT-approved gear for range days: helmet, over-the-ankle boots, full-finger gloves, long pants, eye protection, and a jacket or long sleeves. See the gear & policies page for the full checklist before your first class.
