KickStart
A three-hour introduction. Roll the bike, find the friction zone, ride a straight line. Pre-permit only, no test, no pressure.
Beginner Permit Qualifying
The complete beginner-to-permit pathway, two classroom sessions, two range sessions, both DOL tests, and Yamaha’s Champ U: New Rider included free.
Intermediate Permit
The same permit outcome as beginner, at an accelerated pace. For riders who’ve been on a bike before but never tested.
2-Wheel Endorsement
For permit holders ready to ride independently. Five-hour range session with the DOL endorsement skills test included.

Four tests. One curriculum. The right order.
To get your motorcycle endorsement in Washington you need to pass four tests in total, two for the permit, two for the endorsement. You must hold a valid permit (or current valid permit scores) before you can take the endorsement skills test.
