WMST teaches teen and adult drivers from Snohomish, with online or in-person classroom options, drives on the SR-9, US-2, and downtown roads you know, and DOL testing a short drive west in Everett.
Snohomish has a mix you do not get everywhere: a tight, historic downtown, the open valley roads along the river, and the steady SR-9 and US-2 traffic that connect them. For a new driver, that range is a real advantage, because it covers slow and careful, open and fast, all close to home.
WMST teaches the classroom online or in person, and behind-the-wheel drives can start on the Snohomish roads your teen already knows. One certified instructor stays with them the whole way through.
When it is time to test, our Everett Express office is a short drive west, and WMST is a DOL-approved examiner, so the school that trained your teen gives the skills test. It is one package, from $549.
Early drives use the quieter residential streets up around Blackmans Lake and the neighborhoods off Bickford, where a new driver can build basic control. The historic downtown grid teaches patience: narrow streets, angle parking, and people crossing, all of which slow a teen down in a good way.
The valley roads along the river and toward Lowell are open and a little faster, perfect for practicing speed control, passing judgment, and reading a road without curbs and lights to lean on. SR-9 and the US-2 approaches bring the higher-speed merging and lane changes.
Before test day we cover parallel parking, back-in stalls, and backing around a corner, then run a full test-style drive. By then your teen has handled the slow stuff and the fast stuff and knows the difference.
Snohomish families usually take the classroom online and pair it with local drives, then test at our Everett Express office a short drive west. See dates and book on the registration page.
Every option below is the full DOL-approved program: 30 hours of classroom, 6 behind-the-wheel drives, and an hour of observation. The difference is how much testing and warm-up you want bundled in. See the full Teen Drivers Education breakdown.
