What's the minimum age to start drivers ed?
You need to be at least 15 years old by the first day of class to enroll in Teen Drivers Education.
How do I sign up?
Register online from the registration page, call the Drive team at 425.252.9913, or stop by the Mukilteo office. Classes fill up, so online is usually quickest.
Do you teach manual transmission?
Drivers ed is taught in automatic-transmission cars. Manual transmission training is available as a separate, dedicated lesson series.
Can I reschedule a driving lesson?
Yes. Call the Drive team at 425.252.9913 as far ahead as you can, so we can offer your slot to another student and find you a new time.

I've never ridden. Where do I start?
Start with the 3-hour KickStart intro or a Beginner Permit course. Not sure which fits? Try the Help Me Get Licensed guide or call the Motorcycle team at 360.435.1600.
Do you provide a motorcycle and helmet?
Yes. We provide the training motorcycle and helmet for our training courses only. We do not provide gloves, so plan to bring your own.
How do I add my endorsement to my license?
Our admin team enters your scores to the DOL within 3 business days of finishing your course. You then add the endorsement at a DOL office, or online through License Express by choosing to replace your license and adding the endorsement at the payment screen.
How do I register for a course?
Pick your course on the courses page, then register online, or call 360.435.1600 and we'll book you into the next available date near you.
Walk-in license testing
WMST is a DOL-approved knowledge and skills examiner, so you can test with us and skip the DOL wait. No appointment needed.
Driver testing runs at our Everett Express office at 9:30 am, 1:00 pm, and 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

Do I need an appointment for the knowledge test?
No appointment needed. Walk-in knowledge and skills testing runs at our Everett Express office, 4929 Evergreen Way, with sessions at 9:30 am, 1:00 pm, and 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
Can I test with WMST instead of the DOL?
Yes. WMST is a DOL-approved knowledge and skills examiner, so you finish your driver license or motorcycle endorsement test with us and skip the DOL wait.
Do I need my own motorcycle for the endorsement test?
Yes. You must have your own street-legal motorcycle for motorcycle testing.
When should I show up for a drive test?
Drive testing is first come, first served, and the final test of the day is taken by 3:30 pm. Come earlier in the day to be safe.

How quickly will I hear back?

Where is your main office?
8227 44th Ave W, Suite F, Mukilteo, WA 98275. There's parking on site, and the office is open Monday through Friday, 9:30 am to 5:30 pm.
Are you open on weekends?
The Mukilteo office runs Monday through Friday, 9:30 am to 5:30 pm, with Saturdays by appointment. Many ranges and driving lessons do run on weekends, so ask your instructor about weekend availability.
