A planned neighborhood, easy to learn in.
Silver Firs is a planned neighborhood east of Mill Creek, with wide, well-marked residential streets and roundabouts, which works in a new driver's favor. The basics come easily here, and the busier Seattle Hill Road and the Bothell-Everett Highway are a short hop away when it is time for real traffic.
WMST runs the classroom online or in person, and behind-the-wheel drives can start on the Silver Firs streets your teen already knows. The same certified instructor stays with them throughout. Many local students attend Jackson High nearby.
WMST is a DOL-approved examiner, and testing runs at our Everett Express office. It is one package, from $549.
Seattle Hill Road, 35th Avenue, and 132nd.
New drivers start on the quiet residential loops and roundabouts inside the neighborhood, which are excellent for teaching yield timing and smooth control. Then it is onto Seattle Hill Road and 35th Avenue SE, with the turn lanes and steady traffic that build lane changes and gap timing.
The Bothell-Everett Highway and the 132nd connector bring the busier arterials and merging. Before the test we drill parallel parking, backing around a corner, and hill parking, then a full test-style route.
Silver Firs families take the classroom online or in person with local drives, then test at our Everett Express office. Call 425.252.9913.
