Bothell drivers take the official DOL knowledge and skills tests at the WMST Everett Express office, a drive north on I-405 and I-5. Knowledge testing is walk-in at $25, with sessions at 9:30 am, 1 pm, and 4 pm on weekdays, and the skills test can be scheduled. WMST is a DOL-approved examiner.

Bothell families can take the knowledge test as a walk-in with WMST rather than waiting for an appointment. Our Everett Express office is a drive up I-405 to I-5, and as a DOL-approved examiner, our result is official.
Both tests happen here: the walk-in knowledge test and the scheduled skills test. Lynnwood High students, whose campus is in Bothell, can test in the same car they trained in with WMST.

What to bring to test day.
- Your instruction permit, plus ID documents the DOL needs.
- A parent or guardian if you are under 18, to give permission.
- Glasses or contacts if your permit requires them.
- For the skills test, proof of insurance and a safe, legal car (or use the WMST training car).
- The test fee. Knowledge is $25; skills is $50 scheduled or $65 walk-in.
