WMST runs DOL driver testing right in Everett at our Express office on Evergreen Way. The knowledge test is walk-in at $25, with sessions at 9:30 am, 1 pm, and 4 pm on weekdays, and the skills test can be scheduled or taken walk-in. For Everett drivers, license testing could not be more convenient. Our Express office sits on Evergreen Way in south Everett, and it is where WMST runs both the DOL knowledge test and the skills test. No trip to a separate licensing office and no waiting weeks for a slot.
The knowledge test is walk-in: show up before a session, take the 40-question test on the computer, and you are done. The skills test, the in-car drive, can be booked ahead or taken walk-in. Because we are a DOL-approved examiner, the result is official.

Finding the Everett office.
The Express office is at 4929 Evergreen Way, in south Everett near the mall and Casino Road. From I-5, take an Evergreen Way exit and head south. There is parking on site, and knowledge-test sessions run at 9:30 am, 1 pm, and 4 pm, Monday to Friday.
If you trained with WMST, you can test in the same dual-control car you learned in, which takes one variable off a nervous day.
What to bring to test day.
- Your instruction permit, plus ID documents the DOL needs.
- A parent or guardian if you are under 18, to give permission.
- Glasses or contacts if your permit requires them.
- For the skills test, proof of insurance and a safe, legal car (or use the WMST training car).
- The test fee. Knowledge is $25; skills is $50 scheduled or $65 walk-in.
