Drive Instructor.
Teach DOL-approved drivers education classroom & behind-the-wheel sessions at our Mukilteo classroom and partner high schools across Snohomish County.
What you'll do
- Teach the WMST drivers ed classroom curriculum (9 topics, 30 hours)
- Conduct 6 behind-the-wheel sessions per student cohort
- Score the WMST drivers ed final test
- Coordinate with the Drive admin team on student attendance and progress
- Participate in quarterly continuing education and pedagogy reviews
What we look for
- Washington State Driver Trainer certification (or willingness to certify)
- Excellent communication, especially with teens and new-American adult learners
- Patience that doesn't waver in stop-and-go I-5 traffic
- A clean driving record
- Background-check clearance (required for high-school placements)
