Motorcycle · Policies

The fine print, explained.

Four policy areas that matter for every motorcycle student. Read these before your first class so there are no surprises.

Policy 01

Required Riding Gear

  • DOT-approved helmet (provided for our training courses)
  • Full-finger gloves
  • Eye protection
  • Long pants, denim or heavier
  • Long-sleeve jacket, denim, leather, or textile
  • Over-the-ankle boots

Open-toe shoes, shorts, and tank tops will not be permitted on the range.

Policy 02

Attendance & Required Gear

You must attend all scheduled classroom and range sessions. Arriving late or missing a session may require rescheduling into a future course at our discretion. Required gear must be present at every range session.

Policy 03

Cancellation & Reschedule

  • 10+ days notice: $75 reschedule fee
  • Less than 10 days: no refunds
  • Emergencies: reviewed case-by-case
Policy 04

Personal Motorcycle Use

You may use your personal motorcycle in many of our courses. At Silverdale, your personal bike must have a stock exhaust to comply with our airpark partner's noise restrictions. Bikes must be insured, registered, and in good mechanical condition.
