Washington State license wavier course.
This one-day "Intermediate Rider Training" course is designed for riders over 18 who have current motorcycle experience but still need their license endorsement.Washington Motorcycle Safety Training offers IRT at multiple locations in Everett for Snohomish county residents as well as any Washington state resident, or even non residents wishing to ride motorcycles in Washington state.
PLEASE NOTE: Registering for this course means you must ALREADY POSSESS the basic skill and ability to operate your bike safely. The required basic skills include stopping, starting, shifting, cornering and competent braking of your motorcycle. Unsafe conditions will not be allowed. Instructors must release any student who presents a safety hazard or fails to respond to coaching. This one-day course is approximately 8 hours long. It includes classroom instruction in street strategies and mental processing for safe motorcycling, and range exercises that cover cornering/swerving/stopping and hazard avoidance.
Students use our training bikes for this one day class.
Tuition refunds are not given if you cancel less than 7 days before the start of class.
Successful course graduates receive the Washington Motorcycle Safety Program license waiver card that allows them to get their two-wheel motorcycle endorsement added to their driver’s license.
While our staff will do as much as possible to help you learn to ride safely we can not guarantee that you will learn to ride or that you will pass the written and riding exams that are required to successfully complete this class.
